Edith was an illegal logger posing as a birdwatcher along with her husband, Donald.
Physical appearance[]
Edith is a plump adult woman with short brown hair. She wears a beige sunhat with a lilac band, glasses with semicircular frames, and binoculars around her neck. She wears a lilac polo shirt with a right breast pocket, brown pants with a blue-grey fanny pack, grey socks, and light blue sneakers. When not disguised as a birdwatcher, she wore a plaid polo shirt and a hard hat.
Personality[]
Edith and Donald appeared to be innocent birdwatchers, though humorously incompetent as they did not notice birds that sat on their heads. Mystery Inc. later found that their birdwatching was a mere facade as they were really illegal loggers. Not only did they threaten the forest environment for greed, but they also took advantage of a corrupt forest ranger and resorted to violent crime to secure their operations. They both spoke in a British accent.
History[]
Be Cool, Scooby-Doo![]
Season one[]
Edith and her husband, Donald, bribed forest Ranger Mark so they could illegally log on the property. However, their operations were threatened by archaeologists who found Viking runes in the area. To prevent the archaeologists from interfering with their logging, they and Mark disguised themselves as Viking ghosts in an attempt to scare them away, as well as any campers in the area. Ranger Mark also withheld the excavation permit from them so they could not excavate the runestones.

Edith unmasked.
Mystery Inc. first encountered Edith and Donald while running from the Viking ghosts. While they posed as birdwatchers, they claimed that the tufted hookbill did not appear in that season. However, Mystery Inc. later found several of the birds, proving they were lying about being birdwatchers. They also found tire tracks from the trucks they used for logging. They finally captured the Viking ghosts after setting up a "gauntlet" of traps, the last of which crushed the three ghosts under a pile of rubble. Edith, Mark, and Donald were unmasked, exposed for their crimes, and handed over to authorities.
