In a retelling of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, Ebenezer Scrooge was a greedy moneylender from London during the 19th century.

Physical appearance[]

Scrooge is an elderly, balding, and hunchbacked man with a long, pointed nose, grey hair on the sides of his head, and glasses with semicircular frames. He wears a grey jacket over a dark blue vest, blue ascot, and white dress shirt, as well as grey pants and black shoes.

Personality[]

In both the original and retold versions of A Christmas Carol, Scrooge was portrayed as a cold-hearted and misanthropic miser who, despite having considerable wealth, selfishly hoards his money and refuses to give it to others. He only spends money on his own health, as he has become a paranoid hypochondriac. He also lives mostly in solitude, despising guests such as the gang. He underpays his own clerk and denies him the money he needs to care for his family. Despite his lack of concern for others, he obnoxiously calls out others for their lack of manners, even to a ghost. Buggly attempted to change his ways, believing he could be using his wealth for good.

Season two[]

In a retelling of A Christmas Story, the gang visited Scrooge at his home to exchange their American dollars for British currency. However, Scrooge was attacked by the ghost of his late business partner, Jacob Marley, who would be followed by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. So, the gang investigated Scrooge's home, exposing his doctor, Dr. Buggly, for the crime. Buggly wanted to encourage Scrooge to change his selfish ways so he would pay for his clerk, Bob Cratchit's, son's treatment. However, since the gang foiled Buggly's plan, Scrooge did not change his ways and thus Cratchit never received the money he needed.
