He seems to have felt bad for those that got injured during the Snow Troll's rampage, but mainly hid it by pretending it didn't exist and easily agreed with his dad that it was bad luck.

He was in one of the cabins where various snowboarders were getting recovered from their injuries. He and his dad approached one of the competitors talking to the gang about their encounter with a Snow Troll, who caused them to break their arm in an accident. But the two completely denied the gang on what they were talking about, stating the troll didn't exist and it was just not enough skill on their part.
He later came outside and saw the aftermath of another attack, which was a girl who hurt her leg after getting pushed down the mountain, the two claiming it was just bad lunch.
He was later surprised when his father was revealed to be responsible. Kraus had been wanting him to win the competition and created the remote controlled troll to get rid of everyone so he could be the champion, despite the fact he knew he was still gonna try to win anyway and didn't need help from the cheating strat from his dad.
