Dooby Dooby Doo is Scooby-Doo's cousin.
Physical appearance[]
Dooby Dooby Doo is a male anthropomorphic Great Dane, with brown fur, and a head of black hair. Dooby wears yellow pants held up by a belt with a "D" on it, presumably for Dooby or Doo. Over a frilly white long sleeve shirt, Dooby wears a purple coat jacket. On his neck, Dooby sports a lavish yellow collar, with what appears to be diamonds along the side. With a wig, Scooby looks identical.

The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries[]
Dooby Dooby Doo is Scooby-Doo's cousin and a world-famous singer. At one point, the Laser band thief who posed as a fan gave him a collar and claimed it was for good luck. Dooby was unaware it was actually a laser disguised as a collar, and the Thief was hoping to reclaim it later, when the heat died down. During one of his concerts in Las Vegas, while he was signing autographs, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy Rogers, Daphne Blake, and Scrappy-Doo came and surprised him. Suddenly, a reporter showed up to interview Dooby and asked about his collar, but Dooby refused to answer.
When Scooby asks him about his Collar, Dooby told him a fan gave it to him for good luck and since then people have been out to get him. Scooby then spotted someone trying to reach for Dooby, but Scooby stopped them. Dooby then went to perform on stage, and while singing the Thief showed up in disguise as a show girl. The thief again attempted to steal the collar, but although Scooby and Scrappy stopped him, the thief got away. Realizing that he was in trouble, Scooby decided to pose as Dooby and wear a duplicate of his collar. Unfortunately, Scooby's cover was blown and he's forced to sing, which was terrible and could have brought down an entire building. Nevertheless, Scooby gets kidnapped while posing as Dooby, because of his collar.
Dooby, Shaggy, Daphne, and Scrappy set out to rescue Scooby. They arrived at the sewers and run into Marcy Green again. Marcy reveals that she's actually a Government Agent set to recover the laser that was disguised as a collar. While Marcy went to go get the police, Dooby along with Shaggy, Daphne, and Scrappy disguise themselves as workers to try to rescue Scooby and get the laser band back. As the thieves are about to escape, Scooby foiled their escape by using his bad singing and damaged the laser collar. With the thieves captured and the laser band recovered, Scooby, Dooby, Scrappy, Shaggy, and Daphne return to the contest where Dooby allowed Scooby and Scrappy to sing and dance on stage until Scooby's singing brings the house down.
