Don't Feed the Animals is the seventh episode of the first season of Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!
Premise[]
Dr. Phibes is having trouble with his previous plans so he decides to destroy the rainforest to take all of the leaves that could lead to eternal life. In order for Scooby and Shaggy to stop him, they team up with some marmosets.
Synopsis[]
Shaggy and Scooby watch a documentary showing marmosets in the South American rainforest, but witness a scientist, Dr. Manuel Minkey, being abducted on camera. Spotting the emblem on the kidnapper's hat, they immediately recognize the abduction as Phibes' doing. Bringing Minkey to his lair, Phibes learns from Minkey that the leaves the marmosets eat grant them long-life, and as such could help Phibes slow his aging and bring him closer to immortality. As he would need all the leaves in the rainforest to completely stop the aging process, Phibes plans to bulldoze the entire rainforest to acquire the leaves, even if it meant exterminating millions of rainforest species.
Shaggy and Scooby arrive in the rainforest, and Phibes detects their intrusion. As he forces Mark and Ricky to operate a bulldozer to bulldoze the rainforest, he hires Bruce and Brucey, two mercenaries, to eliminate Shaggy and Scooby. Shaggy and Scooby spot the bulldozer and sabotage it, causing it to crash, but Bruce and Brucey hunt them down. As Scooby leaves behind pawprints and pizza sticks, Phibes realizes Shaggy and Scooby are the intruders and orders Bruce and Brucey to capture them alive. Shaggy and Scooby hide from them, escaping with the help of the marmosets and other rainforest animals.
A flood washes them over the edge of a cliff, and towards the poachers, allowing the poachers to capture them, bringing them to Phibes' lair. However, the marmosets eat Scooby's Scooby Snacks, each gaining a superpower. When they reach Phibes' lair, the marmosets attack Bruce, Brucey, and Phibes and free Shaggy, Scooby, Minkey, and the other poached animals. As the Shaggy and Scooby keep Phibes captive in his own lair, he orders Mark and Ricky to reprogram the bulldozers to bulldoze the lair.
