History
Early life
Kent received the possessed helmet of the three-hundred-year-old Egyptian mage Nabu.[1]
Scooby-Doo! Team-Up
Mel Magnus stole the helmet and put it on to become all powerful, but Zatanna Zatara cast a spell backwards to remove it, which flew off his head and accidentally landed on Scooby-Doo's head. He started talking as Doctor Fate, but it was quickly removed by Fred Jones.[1]
