Ater Christian Slater helped recover the Mystery Machine from the river, he explained to Mystery Inc. how the werewolf first attacked the original school prom, and how it returned during the school's attempt at a do-over prom. Being given this information, Mystery Inc. decided to visit Slater's performing arts school.
