Season two[]
After spotting a sign for a "Carnival," the gang travels here to enjoy a ghost-free day of leisure. Soon after arriving, they discover however that Dick Van Dyke is attempting to run the entire carnival himself, as people have been led to believe it is haunted. After a bit of investigating, the gang is able to help Dick uncover the actual culprit behind the "haunting," the carnival's former strongman. As a means of thanking them, Dick makes the gang part owners of the carnival and proceeds to give them each specific duties around the park (though Velma's is unidentified).
Several times, characters mention how large the carnival is, with Dick and the gang splitting up to search either end of the midway, and needing to use vehicles in order to do so. Areas of the carnival include, a parking area, various tents and concessions, as well as several rides and amusements. The park also has an underground level and a secret passageway which was not disclosed to Dick by the previous owner.

- The figures at the main entrance to the carnival resemble caricatures of Joseph Barbera.
- Though only mentioned once by name when Dick Van Dyke tells the gang this is his carnival, "Dick Van Dyke's Barrel of Fun" doesn't appear anywhere in the carnival itself. Even the carnival golf cart is labeled "Dick's Carnival."
