Daphne Blake is a preppy girl who lives in Coolsville. Despite her vanity, she loves to solve mysteries with her friends in the Scooby-Doo Detective Agency.
Physical appearance[]
Daphne's featured color is pink over her usual purple. She wears a white headband, a pink sweater with matching tights, a dark pink skirt with a matching scarf and white go-go boots. She has short orange hair, dark brown/black eyebrows, black eyes and a perky nose.
Personality[]
Daphne is a bit more obsessed with her looks than the average child or the rest of her friends. One of her most memorable fashion crisis in A Pup Named Scooby Doo is when she screamed when her new boots got stuck in some slime/mud during one of the gang's adventures. In chase scenes of the show, while the rest of the gang is running away or dancing there are moments when she is powdering her face and looking in a mirror, and there are some scenes that depict her filing her nails. She's also one of the more logical members of the gang aside from Velma, always telling the others the monsters and ghosts they face aren't real and always shooting down Fred's crackpot conspiracy theories. In spite of all of that, Daphne is a big support to all of her friends, evident as she never hesitated to defend Freddy from Red Herring, making Velma feel better when she's down, and encouraging Scooby and Shaggy with Scooby-Snacks.
History[]
Daphne's father is a successful business man who has made a fortune from selling Blake's Bubble Bath. He also owns a video arcade called Blake's Videorama where the Scooby-Doo detective agency got into some trouble with Bigwig when Daphne was put in charge.
It is not mentioned whether or not Daphne has siblings in A Pup Named Scooby-Doo.
