The gang arrived to check in where they met Leora Lasswell, who expresses her belief that the resort should be shut down for not being authentic. Gibby Norton also showed up much to Velma Dinkley's annoyance.
Velma sang "Oh! Susanna" on stage with Gibby in the audience, another resident carried Velma away to hear her for himself and got into a fight with Gibby.
