This article is about the cyber monster from the DTV Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase. For other incarnations, see Creeper (disambiguation).

The Creeper is a recreation of the Creeper, made for Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase, made by Eric Staufer.

Physical appearance[]

Cowboy Creeper - Cyber Chase

The Creeper prepared to have his photo taken.

Just like his real-world counterpart, the Creeper is a green-skinned phantom/zombie with a hunchback posture, dark red hair, yellow eye sclera, yellow teeth, and a somewhat lopsided face with prominent cheekbones and a long jawbone. He wore a dark green trench coat with matching dark green pants, a gray inner shirt, and black shoes.

In the movie, he was tricked into wearing a sheriff outfit for a photo shoot. During this photo shoot, he wore a sheriff's badge on his jacket, a white stetson with a red brim, a red scarf, cowboy boots, and a belt with a gun holster with a presumably prop gun inside it.

Personality[]

The Creeper was aggressive whenever pursuing somebody. The Creeper was incapable of normal human speech seemingly only being able to say his own name. Most versions of him were intent on doing their purpose which was guarding the box of Scooby Snacks only going after those who went after it. Either due to its programming or just happenstance he only goes after Daphne Blake whether real or cyber.

History[]

Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase[]

After Eric heard about the gang's many cases featuring mostly costumed crooks he decided to implement those stories for his game, Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase. He even adapted several monsters he heard about as hostel NPCs but unlike their real-world counterparts these monsters would be "real" and not people in costumes. One of these monsters was the Creeper, created to guard the final level's box of Scooby Snacks located at the arcade within CyberLand.

He was the first of these monsters that the real Mystery Inc. and their cyber counterparts encountered when he blocked their path while running from the Phantom Virus. He was quickly joined by the level's other monsters and the gangs quickly figured out how real these monsters were. The gangs ran inside the park splitting up into pairs and, after being ordered to by the Phantom Virus, he began chasing after Daphne and Cyber Daphne.

He eventually found them hiding inside the haunted house but, he was temporarily locked behind a trap door by the real Daphne. Some point after he broke out, he chased the Daphnes into a Wild West-themed area of the park and followed them into a saloon advertising a Wild West-themed photo shoot. When he went inside the Creeper was quickly confused seeing the Daphnes disguised as saloon girls who quickly dressed him up so he could get his photo taken. While the real Daphne was getting the photo ready Cyber Daphne handed him a flashlamp filled with flashpowder. Buying into their act he smiled just as the camera flashed causing the flash powder to explode knocking the Creeper out.

Sometime after this, he grouped up with the level's other monsters and they were able to corner all the members of the cyber gang aside from Cyber Scooby. The Creeper, and the other monsters, despawned when the level was beaten.[1]

Scooby-Doo and Cyber Chase' (GBA)[]

The Creeper was one of the bosses for Eric's game acting as the boss for the Colosseum level. It was defeated by a member of Mystery Inc. [2]
