Crazy Karl is a famous ventriloquist dummy that was controlled by Baz Bozzington.
Physical appearance[]
Crazy Karl is a dummy resembling a short male human. It had pale grey skin, black eyebrows and black hair slicked in a spike above his forehead. It also had red lips and two round eyes; his left pupil is black and surrounded by a pink iris, and his right pupil is grey. He wore a purple, V-neck jumpsuit over a yellow undershirt, and grey socks.
Personality[]
True to his name, Karl often spoke in a maniacal, echoey voice, sadistically laughing after each of his lines. Before appearing to his victims, Karl would often make threats to his victims while speaking in rhymes. He often tended to intimidate its victims by rigging the lighting; by spontaneously turning the lights on and off, he is able to further scare his victims by sporadically appearing in and out of view. In other words, Crazy Karl primarily relied on an element of surprise to scare his victims.
Skills and abilities[]
- Elasticity: Being a remote-controlled robot and a puppet, Karl possesses superhuman elasticity in his arms. As such, he is able to reach long distances, wrap around its victims to restrain them, and even appear to walk on his hands.

Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?[]
Season one[]
Baz Bozzington hosted a charity ventriloquist competition where Karl was offered as the winner's prize. Mystery Inc. helped Bozzington escort the doll to the competition site. However, in order to impress celebrity judges Jeff Dunham and Darci Lynne Farmer, Bozzington rigged the doll with robotics and advanced puppetry to make the doll appear to come to life. This also helped protect the doll from an eccentric old lady and her son, who regularly stole dolls to add to her collection. The doll was first seen attacking an event security guard, who was later hospitalized from the attack. The doll later attacked Scooby and Shaggy in the event banquet hall, and again in their motel room while they were in bed.
Karl attacked Scooby and Shaggy for a third time during the competition, where he interrupted their performance as contestants in the competition. Instead of controlling the doll via remote control, Bozzington decided to physically puppet Crazy Karl, dressed in a black jumpsuit to avoid being seen. However, he fell into a trap prepared by Mystery Inc.; the stage lights were turned on, making Bozzington visible. Bozzington succeeded in gaining the praise of both Dunham and Farmer, who declared him winner of the competition, but he was nevertheless handed to authorities for his crimes.
