Season three
He was challenging Shaggy Rogers for the championship when the game was disrupted by the Menacing Metallic Clown. For a while, Cougar was suspected of being behind it to win the game, but he was innocent, and in danger from the clown himself. After Mayor Snipper was unmasked as the Metallic Clown Fred, Velma and Daphne found him along with Ned and Stacy inside the Putt Putt Castle, gagged and all tied up. Daphne proceeded to rescue him and got him ungagged and untied, while Fred and Velma freed Stacy and Ned, respectively.
