Season two[]
Frankenfooder was a legendary historical figure fabricated by celebrity chef Alton Brown as a publicity stunt, who pretended Frankenfooder was his ancestor. Forging both a portrait of Frankenfooder and his diary, Brown claimed that Frankenfooder was a food scientist who created a monster from fruits and vegetables. To publicize the hoax, Brown invited Mystery Inc. to his supposed family castle (which actually belonged to the Schmidt Family), then disguised himself as the Frankenfooder Monster and attacked them. However, he was later captured as the monster and unmasked, after which Velma proved that Frankenfooder did not exist.
