The Clevertown football team is an American sports franchise from Clevertown. Shaggy Rogers and Scooby-Doo are fans of the team.
History[]
The first time that the Clevertown football team is mentioned is in "The Goal Line Ghost of Terrible Terry" where the team's sudden streak of success was under threat by the alleged ghost of Terrible Terry Harris, who stopped them against Pittsland 30 years prior in the 1980's divisional playoffs, and has allegedly started to haunt the Clevertown Sports Radio.
In "Project Rainbow and the Poughkeepsie Experiment" a poster of Clevertown's football team can be seen on Shaggy's room wall.
In "The Case of the Haunted Huddle", the Clevertown's football team owner, Marty O'Dell, tries to have the Mayor of Clevertown to invest money in building a new arena instead of Legacy Field, and if not to move the team into another city. To acomplish his plan, he dressed up as a Mummy and haunt his team into not showing up there. The Clevertown's General manager and Clevertown's Coach hire Mystery Inc. who solve this case.
