Early life[]
According to one of the Crystal Cove Spook Museum's tours, gold was discovered in the area and Cletus was the one who changed the name of the town to Crystal Cove.[1]
On Halloween night 75 years ago, he was fighting with his family for a mysterious puzzle-piece artifact. An earthquake caused his home to be swallowed up underground, along with him and his entire family.
When an old Danny Darrow remembered back to his time growing up underground, Cletus was the first to die.[2]
