Catwoman is a supervillain and a member of Batman's gallery of rogues from Gotham City.

Physical appearance[]

Catwoman is an adult woman with blue eyes. She wears a gray skintight catsuit with long black gloves, boots, and a mask which covers her features, keeping her civilian identity safe. She also has a yellow "belt", a bullwhip, and retractable metal claws on the fingertips of her gloves.

In Scooby's dreams, she wore a purple dress with a hood that came with ears, and a green cape with black boots. She has a long black hair.

In Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold, she wears a black-blue protective suit with a red mask with cat-like eyes and black heeled boots with gold buckles. She has a short black hair and gloves with sharp claws.

In the novels, she was redesigned to have an entirely black catsuit and light white facial makeup. She also uses a bullwhip as her weapon.

Personality[]

Catwoman was originally characterized as a criminal and adversary of the Bat-Family, but she was also portrayed as an antiheroine and an ally of Batman and the Mystery Inc. sometimes, like Harley Quinn.

At the beginning of his visit to the Mystery Analysts of Gotham City headquarters, Scooby-Doo dozed off and dreamt he was Batman's sidekick (wearing Robin's clothes), helping him take out Catwoman.[3]

Catwoman posed as a ghost in order to steal the Opal of Osiris from Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. However, the Mystery Inc. eventually unraveled her plan. She tried to flee with the opal, but was later defeated by Batgirl.[1]

Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold[]

Catwoman took part of Riddler's bank robbery along with Killer Croc, but she, Croc, "Riddler" and their henchmen were defeated by Batman, Aquaman and Question. (Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold)

She appeared in a flashback when the gang was trying to figure out what supervillain would target the Department of Wildlife, since a a coat store in Gotham with the word "Furs" in it's title led to her going there since it's part of the theme. [5]

Notes/Trivia[]

  • In her first appearance, she is modeled on her Golden Age appearance in DC Comics, while in her second, she is modeled on her appearance in Batman: The Animated Series. Incidentally, Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island actress Adrienne Barbeau was also the voice of her in the aforementioned series.
