Casper Cosgoode is the legal counsel of the late Colonel William Lutz.

Physical appearance

Casper Cosgoode is a slim, senior man with a pinched face and slick dark gray hair. He was dressed in a dark blue jacket and matching pants, a dark brown sweater-vest, white shirt, a dark brown belt with a silver buckle, brown shoes and a black bowtie.

Personality

Cosgoode is an eccentric man, speaking in a calm-yet-unsettling demeanor. He is also known to appear and disappear accompanied by thunderclaps, which tends to frighten Scooby. Despite his calm composure, he is a reckless man, destroying an entire mansion with explosives.

History

Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!

Being the legal counsel of Colonel William Lutz, in honor of Lutz's will and testament, Lutz invited the heirs of the will to the mansion to stay the night. He disappeared in a thunderclap after greeting the guests.

After Mystery Inc. captured the phantoms and revealed their identities as the twins Ruby and Trudy Lutz, Cosgoode appeared to inform the twins that they would be removed from their uncle's will as punishment for their actions. He then disappeared in another thunderclap, which accidentally ignited the highly-volatile sodium maldehyde in the cellar, causing a massive explosion which destroyed the mansion.

• Casper Cosgoode's last name is taken from Cosgood Creeps's first name, one of the crooked lawyers who did turn out to be the culprit, from the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode, A Night of Fright is No Delight.
