Carter Hall is the modern civilian identity of Hawkman, who works as a curator at the Midway City Museum, with his wife, Shiera Hall, who's also Hawkgirl.

- Reincarnation: Carter was cursed thousands of years ago, so that when he dies, he will be reincarnated, allowing him to live through several lifetimes.

Whenever there's trouble in Midway City, Carter and Shiera pretended to call Hawkman and Hawkgirl, but because they were off-world at the time fighting space pirates, Mavis Trent had to call Mystery Inc. to investigate the museum. Hawkman and Hawkgirl had arrived just after Mystery Inc. did.
