Captain Quint is a tour guide who works at Ocean Land.
Physical appearance[]
Quint is a tall male figure with unkempt black hair, and a prominent chin and nose. He wears a long, blue coat with matching blue pants, black shoes, a maroon scarf,[Note 1] and a matching woolly hat.
Personality[]
He has a pirate-like personality as he says "Aye", and pronounces "you" as "ye".

When Scooby and Shaggy talked with him he complained that nobody goes on tours anymore. Quint is normally alone on the water reading his book on rare fish. He then claims he saw the Ghost of Redbeard.
Possible ending[]
Captain Quint unmasked (PSP).
Captain Quint unmasked (DS).
Captain Quint used the disguise of the Ghost of Redbeard to cover up his smuggling of rare fish. When Ghost Scene Investigators and Mystery Inc., Mystery Inc. were able to see pass her red herrings and solve the case.

- Quint is based on Ebenezer Shark from the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode A Clue for Scooby Doo, and Quint from the Steven Spielberg directed movie Jaws, played by Robert Shaw.
- Ebenezer Shark was not the villain, but Captain Quint is a villain.
- Quint is the only one who uses the Ghost of Redbeard disguise in the DS version of the game.
