Captain Clements helped criminals escape from prison.

Physical appearance

Captain Clements is an overweight man with gray hair, a mustache and beard. He wore a blue jacket over a light blue turtle-neck sweater, a blue captain's hat with a gold circle on it, tan pants and black shoes.

Personality

The captain appeared to be superstitious, having had warned the gang about the legend, though it was merely a diversionary tactic to hide his involvement in assisting convicted felons escape from prison.
