The restaurant was the first of three locations Charlene, a girl who went on a date with Fred, went to where one of the ongoing cases were since he wanted to show off his trapping and solving skills.
During the stop, a werewolf had been involved scaring people away, but after Fred easily stopped it, he reassured that the person behind it was the crooked manager, only to be surprised when Velma showed up to reveal it was the disgruntled short order cook.
