When running from the Green Globs, Scooby-Doo and Shaggy hide behind crates of Sugar Plum Candy Company bubble gum. Scooby is enticed to chew some, but when a bubble pops and both alerts the globs to their location and makes Shaggy think they're shooting at them, he swallows the gum and starts hiccuping an even larger bubble. This large bubble is strong enough to contain both Scooby and Shaggy, as well as lift them off the ground and into the air. Though initially safely floating above the globs, the creatures manage to pop it, sticking Scooby and Shaggy to the ceiling. Eventually they fall down, but Cass Elliot grabs them before the creatures can.
