History[]
Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Doghouse[]
Bruce was a popular show dog who won in multiple shows, but one time, his owner, Harriette Grabbler, claimed that Gideon Van Pelt, her neighbor tried to cheat them out with his small pet poodle Fifi on being the winner.
In following year, both Harriette and her handyman, Ken Griffiths, heard the news about missing diamonds that were lost from some San Francisco thieves near Gideon's home, so they used Bruce for special effects and lighting Ken would project out onto the neighbors yard. The projection, which depicted him as a Ghost, would than be controlled by Ken's computer tech to act eerie at night, and once everyone was scared off, they would steal the diamonds located in a dig spot.
The whole scheme was later found out by the gang and Gideon thanks to the lights shining from the rear window of Harriette's house, the two individuals were arrested and Bruce was presumably disqualified from the shows for getting involved in an illegal act.
