Bob Turnbuckle is a tourist from Kansas.

Physical appearance[]

Bob is a large, middle-aged man with gray hair, red sunglasses and a yellow hat with a greenish brown stripe. He wears a purple collared shirt with one breast pocket, brown khaki shorts and boots.

Personality[]

Bob is a kind man who loves his wife and had a soft spot for Velma's Cousin Thelma, and was nice enough to help the gang out a bit with some evidence of her whereabouts.

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Adventures[]

Bob and his wife Edna met Velma and the two cowards when they were checking around Pharaoh's Pizza for something to eat, and upon seeing Velma, he mentioned she reminded him of her aunt. Who they met two days ago when being toured around Egypt and it's different sites, but went missing a day later when she wandered off somewhere.

Velma asks if they knew where, but before he could, the three of them had to help with a situation he and Edna were having as they forgotten the rhythm of a song they used to dance to, since it's their 32th anniversary. With the usage of bottles, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby were able to remake the tune, and given a clue for potential help. He was later added to the gang's suspect list do to knowing about Thelma.

Bob unmasked.

He and Edna learned about the treasures in the Sphinx from the stories from Aunt Thelma, and cooked up a scheme to scare everyone away as a mummy. With him carrying Edna on his shoulders, they kidnapped Thelma and hid her in a room in the Sphinx while trying to solve the hidden passages to the treasure room, only to get found out by the gang and arrested by Detective Ahmed.
