Bob Cratchit is the clerk of Ebenezer Scrooge. He needed Scrooge's help to pay for his ill son, Tiny Tim's, treatment.

Physical appearance[]

Bob Cratchit is a middle-aged British man with black hair and blue skin discoloured from the cold. He wears ragged clothing, including a grey cloth over his head and a brown, long-sleeved sweater.

Personality[]

An underpaid and overworked clerk, Cratchit is a working-class man whom Scrooge takes advantage of for cheap labour. He resents his job, which he considers an "endless nightmare" as he is forced to sit constantly shivering in the cold and it keeps him away from his children. However, he remains friendly to Mystery Inc. as he is not angry about his situation. He remains optimistic even as his son has an illness and he cannot afford the treatment.

Season two[]

While visiting London, Mystery Inc. visited Scrooge's house to exchange their American dollars for British currency. They met Cratchit, who led them upstairs. However, as Mystery Inc. began investigating the ghosts haunting Scrooge, they discovered that Cratchit had a son, Tiny Tim, dying from an illness, and Cratchit needed Scrooge to spare him money for the treatment. As such, Cratchit had a reason to pose as the ghosts to convince Scrooge to change his miserly ways and pay for the treatment.

Cratchit was found innocent as Mystery Inc. incriminated Scrooge's doctor, Dr. Buggly, for the crime. However, as Buggly's plan was foiled, Scrooge never changed his ways and thus Cratchit never received the money to treat his son.
