What are y'all's opinions on this? It is a montage of designs from the Hex Girls' appearances in Scooby-Doo media over the years.
The first page includes concept art that was released in 1998. The following pages include scenes of them in Witch Ghost, What's New, Legend of the Vampire, Mystery Incorporated (Cartoon Network), Mystery Incorporated (live-action fanmade pilot), Guess Who, as well as (the sadly and unfortunately cancelled) Haunted High Rise.
So again, what are y'all's opinions on this? Which designs do you prefer the most? Which ones do you prefer the least?
Please express what you think in the comment section below pertaining to this post.
There is absolutely no right or wrong answer.

Should there be a page created for Haunted High Rise?
It was a Scooby-Doo DVT film planned to have been released by Warner Bros. Its plot would've centered around the popular eco-goth girl group known as the Hex Girls.
Their debut appearance was in Witch's Ghost. In that film, they first met Mystery Inc. while practicing for a concert in Oakhaven, Massachusetts.
Their second appearance was in Legend of the Vampire. In that film, they met Mystery Inc. once again while practicing for a performance at the annual Vampire Rock Music Festival in Sydney, Australia.
They had made return guest appearances in the What's New episode "The Vampire Strikes Back", the Mystery Incorporated episodes "In Fear of the Phantom", "Dance of the Undead", and the Guess Who episode "I Put a Hex on You!" soon after. They were supposed to have made in guest appearance in a Halloween-themed episode of Be Cool, but due to Warner Bros. wanting to focus on making 11-minute episodes instead of the usual 22-minute ones, the episode ended up being scrapped.
This thread post on ScoobyAddictsProBoards.com from 2017 proves it.

Haunted High Rise was one of the two Scooby-Doo DVT films that had been set to be released by Warner Bros. in Fall 2023 which is now. The other one of the two was Krypto Too.
https://scoobydoo.fandom.com/wiki/Scooby-Doo!_and_Krypto,_Too!
The plot for Krypto Too had Mystery Inc. team up with Krypto the Superdog to save Metropolis from DC supervillains.
Unfortunately late last year, it was announced that Haunted High Rise had been cancelled from its planned release date for this year.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kK4H-h-gmI
The same fate occurred in the year with Holiday Haunt which had been planned to be released during the Christmas season on HBO Max as a sequel film to SCOOB.
In May of that year, another Scooby-Doo project titled Mystery Pups was announced. https://web.archive.org/web/20230107225830/https://www.animationmagazine.net/2022/05/scoobs-pre-k-debut-scooby-doo-and-the-mystery-pups-coming-to-cartoonito/
It was announced as a preschool series set to premiere on Cartoon Network as part of their Cartoonito block and on HBO Max in 2024. Its plot would've had Scooby and Shaggy working as counselors at a lakeside sleepaway camp. The campers there would've been three unnamed pups who each would've shared characteristics of Fred, Daphne, and Velma respectively.
Unfortunately early this year, it was announced that it had been cancelled from its planned premiere date for 2024. https://twitter.com/RogerEschbacher/status/1631813969689341952
The reasons for all of this happening were because of the Warner Bros. Discovery merger taking place earlier last year.
In response to these cancellations, Krypto Too had been leaked online.
https://movieweb.com/full-scooby-doo-and-dc-crossover-movie-leaks-online-after-cancelation/
Rumors were spread that this was an attempt for the film to be saved from suffering the same fate as the other Scooby-Doo projects that had been planned to be released.
On July 26, it was announced that an official trailer for the film would be released the next day. https://twitter.com/WBHomeEnt/status/1684262384469147681
The official trailer had been released the next day and it included scenes of Mystery Inc. with Krypto, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, the Justice League, Lex Luthor, and several DC supervillains.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NfkdZThS4I
At the end of the trailer, a copy of its DVD release had been shown.
Its release date was September 26 and it included three episodes of Guess Who as bonus cartoons.
In spite of the cancellations of both Holiday Haunt and Mystery Pups, pages for both of them remain on this FANDOM wiki site. However, there is no page created for Haunted High Rise.
Should there be a page created for Haunted High Rise in spite of its cancellations along with both Holiday Haunt and Mystery Pups? And if so, should its plot be included in the page for the Hex Girls as well as the individual pages for each of its members?
If so, that's good, but if not, that's fine too.
The amount of potential this has is immeasurable
Hi, y'all. Good morning.
There's a little somethin' that I've been wantin' to share that's been on my mind today.
I've been noticing some similarities and differences between Tug from Ghoul School, Luke from Camp Scare, and Mr. Junior from Be Cool.
Tug (Ghoul School)
Luke (Camp Scare)
Mr. Junior (Be Cool - Protein Titans 2)
The similarities that I've noticed are that they all had short, blond hair, were voiced by Scott Menville, and were one-off characters.
One difference that I've noticed is that Tug appeared in a Scooby-Doo project before Warner Bros. had bought the rights to the series, while Luke and Mr. Junior appeared in ones after.
Another difference that I've noticed is that Tug was an antagonist along with his friends, Jamal, Miguel, Baxter, and Grunt, while Luke and Mr. Junior were both allies.
Another difference that I've noticed is that Mr. Junior had parents who appeared with him while Tug and Luke didn't.
Mr. Junior's father Mr. Junior, Sr. appeared with him in the Be Cool Season 2 episode Protein Titans 2.
He looked exactly like him except that he was older and much taller.
He appeared briefly during a scene where they were having a conversation in Mr. Junior's office.
His wife/Mr. Junior's mother is not seen or mentioned at all in the episode.
His voice was also provided by Dee Bradley Baker in the episode.
So, that's it. That's all I've been wantin' to share with y'all here.

What do y'all think? Should Mindy Cohn have continued voicing Velma in Scooby-Doo media after KISS: Rock and Roll Mystery? She has been her voice actress for the longest amount of time. She had replaced B.J. Ward who had voiced her in the Johnny Bravo crossover episode Bravo Dooby-Doo (she also voiced his aunt Jebidisa), the 4 Mook Animation films Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost, Alien Invaders, and Cyber Chase (which had been Grey DeLisle's first starring role as Daphne), the TV specials The Scooby-Doo Project and Night of the Living Doo, the video games Mystery of the Fun Park Phantom, Showdown in Ghost Town, Phantom of the Knight, Jinx at the Sphinx, Activity Challenge and Night of 100 Frights, and the Sheep in the Big City cafeteria bumper which was aired as part of Cartoon Network's "The Best Place for Cartoons".
Mindy had first voiced Velma in the series What's New. The series was aired on The WB for 3 seasons from 2002-2007. She continued to voice her in several films with the same animation style that was used in the series as well as the series Get a Clue and Mystery Incorporated. She had also voiced her in the video games Mystery Mayhem, Unmasked, Who's Watching Who, First Frights, and Spooky Swamp.
After the release of the film Samurai Sword, the animation style had been changed starting with Abracadabra-Doo (which had introduced Velma's younger sister Madelyn). She continued to voice Velma in the film and the ones that followed it as well as the short films Spooky Games, Haunted Holidays, Spooky Scarecrow, Mecha Mutt Menace, Ghastly Goals, and Beach Beastie. She had even voiced her in the Batman: The Brave and the Bold crossover episode Bat-Mite Presents: Batman's Strangest Cases! as well as commercials for DirecTV and State Farm.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlPWzIAqXus
Nicole Jaffe did however briefly return to the role in the films Legend of the Vampire and Monster of Mexico (same with Heather North as Daphne).
After KISS: Rock and Roll Mystery, Mindy Cohn had suddenly left the role. It was stated that her reason for doing so was because of her going through health issues.
Those health issues were revealed to have been breast cancer.
Mindy was forced to leave the role in order to recover from the disease.
She had recovered from the disease. For some strange, odd, unknown, peculiar reason, she had not returned to the role.
She was instead replaced by actress Kate Micucci. The first time that Kate had voiced Velma was in the online stop motion short LEGO Scooby-Doo! in Ghouls on Wheels. It was released a couple of months before the series Be Cool premiered on Cartoon Network in 2015.
As of this year, she is Velma's current voice actress.
I find it rather sad that all of this had happened with Mindy Cohn. She is one of the greatest television actresses on earth. Before voicing Velma, she was known for her role as Natalie Green on the long-running NBC sitcom, The Facts of Life. She had been voicing Velma for many, many years, and for her to have such an iconic role snatched away from her is just..........ugh.
Many Scooby-Doo fans have complained about this business decision that was made by Warner Bros. and I stand by them.
You would think that they would've had enough common decency and asked her to return to the role of a fantastic cartoon character which she has done so well.
I wish that I had created this post sooner seeing that her birthday was just a couple of weeks ago (it's on May 20).
So, what do y'all think of all this? Should Mindy Cohn have been asked to return to the long-running children's franchise known as Scooby-Doo for her role as the intelligent brainiac genius of the famous mystery-solving team Mystery Inc. Velma Dinkley after recovering from such a life-threatening disease instead of her being replaced by another actress?
Please feel free to express any of your thoughts, feelings, opinions, or emotions in the comment section down below pertaining to this post.
There's no right or wrong answer.
Daphne & Velma (TV series)
Daphne & Velma is an American adult animated mystery horror comedy television series that was based on the characters Daphne Blake and Velma Dinkley from the Scooby-Doo franchise. Developed and created by Charlie Grandy for HBO Max, it stars co-executive producers Constance Wu and Mindy Kaling as the voice of the titular characters, with Ken Leung, Ming-Na Wen, Russell Peters, and Sarayu Blue in supporting roles. Grandy also serves as the showrunner of the series. It revolves around Daphne Blake Velma Dinkley of Mystery Inc. before their official formation, making it the first television series in the franchise to not feature the character Scooby-Doo.
The series premiered on January 12, 2023. It received positive reviews from critics, who praised the voice acting and were impressed with the humor as well as its meta storytelling, characterization, and staying true to the ''Scooby-Doo'' mythos. The audience reception was overwhelmingly positive.

He also does not share the original Shaggy's cowardice, although his love of snacks remains.
* Gary Cole as Lamont Rogers, Norville's white father who works as a therapist and is Crystal Cove High's school counselor. He bears a resemblance to Shaggy's original design.
* Nicole Byer as Blythe Rogers, Norville's African-American mother and the Principal of Crystal Cove High.

* Stephen Root as Sheriff Cogburn, the incompetent sheriff of Coolsville.
What do y'all think of this idea?
This is a better version of the HBO Max VELMA series.
Various changes were made to it. The ones that were made are
1. Both Daphne and Velma's names being in the title.
2. Daphne and Velma remaining best friends.
3. Daphne's parents Darren and Carroll raising her, not being criminals, and working in the Crystal Coves Mines legally.
4. Velma's parents Aman and Diya being together instead of him dating Sophie.
5. Sophie being the mother of two sons instead of Amanda.
6. Donna being the mother of two sons instead of Daphne.
7. Linda being the mother of Jacques Beau instead of Daphne.
8. Gigi being in a relationship with Jacques Beau instead of Norville.
9. Norville and Fred being best friends with occasional interactions with Daphne and Velma.
10. Victoria living and being loving and supportive of Fred instead of her being a villain and deceased.
The title for it is the same as these two Scooby-Doo projects.
https://scoobydoo.fandom.com/wiki/Daphne_%26_Velma_(film)?so=search
https://scoobydoo.fandom.com/wiki/Daphne_and_Velma_(Scholastic_series)?so=search
I think that it should've had Daphne's name in it alongside Velma's because they have been the best of friends since the series began back in 1969.
I also think that Darren and Carroll shouldn't have been criminals because she spent half of this series trying to figure out who her biological parents were.
I also think that Gigi should've been in a relationship with Jacques Beau instead of Norville due to their high social status at Crystal Cove High.
I also think that Victoria shouldn't have been a villain and murdered and instead be living while being a caring and nurturing mother towards Fred.
All of this would've made the series so much better in my honest opinion.
But what do y'all think?
Feel free to give your thoughts, feelings, or opinions in the comment section below which is pertaining to this post.

Sometimes I think Scooby-Doo doesn't realize he's a dog.
What are y'all's thoughts on Linda and Donna's characters could've been better in the HBO Max VELMA series?
https://scoobydoo.fandom.com/wiki/Linda_Blake?so=search
https://scoobydoo.fandom.com/wiki/Donna_Blake?so=search
In the series, they were working as a detective at the Crystal Cove Police Station.
Also, along with Donna, she was the adoptive mother of Daphne.
Their voice actors were famed actresses/comediennes Wanda Sykes and Jane Lynch respectively.
https://scoobydoo.fandom.com/wiki/Wanda_Sykes_(actress)?so=search
https://scoobydoo.fandom.com/wiki/Jane_Lynch?so=search
The series was received negatively by critics and fans of Scooby-Doo due to the several changes that were made to it.
So, what I was thinking was what could've made it a little better was that instead of Linda and Donna being Daphne's adoptive mothers, they would both be single mothers to sons.
Linda would still be working as a detective at the Crystal Cove Police Station along with Donna, but she would also be a single mother raising Handsome Jock.
https://scoobydoo.fandom.com/wiki/Handsome_Jock?so=search
In the series, he was a student attending Crystal Cove High School and a member of the school's football team. He sometimes went by his government name "Jacques Beau". His voice actor was Karl-Anthony Towns.
Linda's husband would be unnamed and he would be mentioned but he would not be seen. They would either be divorced or he would've passed on sometime when Jacques Beau was younger. She would also still be voiced by Wanda Sykes.
Handsome Jock would still be a student attending Crystal Cove High School and a member of the football team. He would be friends with several other boys who are members of it as well. He would also still be voiced by Karl-Anthony Towns.
Donna would also still be working as a detective at the Crystal Cove Police Station along with Linda, but she would also be a single mother. Instead raising just one son, she would be raising two. Her husband would also be unnamed and he would also be mentioned but he would also not be seen. They would also either be divorced or he would've passed on sometime when her two sons were younger. She would also still be voiced by Jane Lynch.
Her two sons would be one or two years apart from each other. They would both be students attending Crystal Cove High School. The older son would be a member of the school's football team and friends with Jacques Beau and several other boys, while her younger son would be a member of the school's marching band and friends with Dandruff Tuba and two other boys.
One last thing that I want to add is that instead of Linda and Donna being lovers and living together, they would just be friends and living together.
So, what are y'all's thoughts on this idea? Do you think that Linda being Handsome Jock's mother in the series would've made it better? Do you think that Donna raising two sons would've made it better? Would it have been a success?
Could Sophie's character have been better with her still being a waitress at Spooner's Malt Shop and being voiced by Melissa Fumero but instead of her dating Aman and being the mother of Amanda, she (like Donna) would be a single mother raising two sons who are students at Crystal Cove High School and members of the school's football team and marching band respectively? Also, would she (like Linda and Donna) have had an unnamed husband whom she had either divorced from or had passed on sometime when her two sons were younger?
There's no right or wrong answer. These are just suggestions on what could've made the series better than it was when it first premiered on the HBO Max streaming service.
Please feel free to give your honest opinions in the comment section below that is pertaining to this post.
(Edited by JustMJordanW)
This is my pitch for a Daphne & Velma series. It is completely different from the one produced by Mindy Kaling. Its title is the same as the 2018 live-action film as well as the young adult novel series.
https://scoobydoo.fandom.com/wiki/Daphne_%26_Velma_(film)?so=search
https://scoobydoo.fandom.com/wiki/Daphne_and_Velma_(Scholastic_series)?so=search
It would even contain elements from each of them.
Its premise would still be the same as Mindy Kaling's version. Daphne and Velma would still be solving mysteries, Daphne's parents would still be Darren and Carroll, Velma's parents would still be Aman and Diya, they would still be students attending Crystal Cove High School, and they would still be voiced by Constance Wu and Mindy Kaling respectively. Donna and Linda would still be working as detectives at the Crystal Cove Police Station. Lamont and Blythe would still be the guidance counselor and principal of Crystal Cove High School respectively. They would also still be Norville's parents. William and Victoria would still be Fred's parents as well. Also, characters such as Sophie, Donna, Linda, Dandruff Tuba, Gigi, Kimmy, Krista, Brenda, Becca, Lola, Olive, Jacques Beau, Sheriff Cogburn, and Mayor Dave.
There would also be differences added to it.
Daphne and Velma would still be friends despite their different points of view. Velma would keep an open mind and not allow her logical perspective to cloud her judgment. Daphne would also not be part of the popular girls' clique with Gigi, Kimmy, Krista, Brenda, Becca, Lola, and Olive. Instead, she would stand up for Velma and tell them to leave Velma alone whenever they are picking on her. Also, Gigi and Norville would not be dating. Instead, she and Jacques Beau (who is a member of the Crystal High School Football Team) would be dating.
Instead of Diya missing and Aman dating Sophie, he and Diya would be together.
Darren and Carroll would not be criminals nor would they be stealing crystals from the mines of Crystal Cove. Instead, they would be working honest jobs as miners. They would even be in charge of a group that mines crystals only instead of them being called The Crystal Mines "Gang", they would be called The Crystal Mines "Crew". They would be doing this while living in Crystal Cove and raising Daphne.
Donna and Linda would not be lovers nor would they be living together. Instead, they would be friends living in separate houses. They would also each be single mothers raising sons while trying to make ends meet. Their sons would also be students at Crystal Cove High School as well as members of the school's football team and marching band. Their names would be Brett, Seth and Jacques Beau (who is currently dating Gigi) respectively. Brett and Seth would be on the football team, while Seth would be in the marching band.
Sophie would still be a waitress. A difference for her would be that she and Aman would not be dating as he and Diya are together. Another difference for her would be that she, like Donna and Linda, would be a single mother raising sons while trying to make ends meet. Her eldest son would also be a student at Crystal Cove High School as well as a member of the football team along with Brett and Jacques Beau, while her youngest son would be in the marching band with Seth. Their names would be Rico and Paolo respectively.
Dandruff Tuba would still be a member of the Crystal Cove High School Marching Band. A few differences for him would be that his appearances would be major, he would often be seen with his friends, and he would not be injured by any dangerous objects hurling toward him. Also, two of his friends would be Seth and Paolo who are fellow members of the school's marching band.
Norville and Fred would still be students at Crystal Cove High School. A few differences for them would be that Norville and Gigi would not be dating (she and Jacques Beau are dating), Fred's relationship with William would not be toxic, and Victoria would not be a villain and she would still be living.
And finally, one last major difference would be that Aman, Diya, Darren, Carroll, Lamont, Blythe, William, Victoria, Donna, Linda, and Sophie would all be childhood friends from the past before they each became parents to Velma, Daphne, Norville, Fred, Brett, Seth, Jacques Beau, Rico, and Paolo respectively.
So, what do y'all think of this pitch for the Daphne & Velma series?
I understand that a lot of Scooby-Doo fans were displeased with the direction that the HBO Max Velma series starring Mindy Kaling went with a while back. I understand that they want it cancelled instead of returning for another season. I also understand they were displeased with the cancellations of other, more lighthearted Scooby-Doo projects (Krypto Too, Mystery Pups, Holiday Haunt, and Haunted High Rise).
The pitch that I've created here is much better for various reasons. 1., It is a mix of both soft/lighthearted, and dark/mature content. 2. It remains true to the Scooby-Doo franchise. 3. Its title contains both Daphne and Velma's names. and 4. Not only does the title contain both of their names, but it also reflects on the lifelong friendship that they've maintained over the years.
If I were working at Warner Bros. and a teaser trailer for the series had been set to be released, I would've made absolutely sure that it included both the female members of mystery-solving crew known as Mystery Inc. I also would've made sure that if an official trailer for it had been set to be released, it would've included not only them, but Norville, Fred, their parents, and many other characters from it as well.
I honestly think that this would've been a better series than we got, but it's already too late as its first season had already been concluded.
Perhaps, Warner Bros. will look back on this and learn to think about what they want to create as opposed to just putting it out there for the whole world to see.
But what do y'all think?
Would this have been a better pitch for a Scooby-Doo series than the one starring Mindy Kaling? Would the reviews have been positive? Would it have been successful? Would it have been so successful that a second season would've been in demand for the HBO Max streaming service?

Scoobypedia as a whole seems to place Ruby-Spears's account of events as how Scooby-Doo was created. But that is not hte only account.
There's something that seems a little weird to me, in this interview it's said that Bill Lutz wrote the entire first season of Scooby-Doo,
But Joe Ruby and Ken Spears say that they wrote the first five and either wrote or edited the others.
(Personally speaking I'm less inclined to believe Joe Ruby and Ken Spears because their old website's Scooby history, when they cover the original gang's names, leave out a gang member, don't show their last names, and match them up wrong (since they say that Linda became Velma, but the original pilot suggests that Linda was Daphne since she carries the surname Blake, as shown here: https://archive.org/details/theworldofhannabarberacartoons_201912/page/n41/mode/2up?q=Scooby&view=theater)
Anyway there are two conflicting stories here:

So what I'm trying to say is, how is the wiki going to handle this?
