When the gang arrived at the Cyber Gulch resort, the alleged creator, Dr. Fleg, said they could do anything, except go beyond Black Rock.
Later, Shaggy Rogers and Scooby-Doo accidentally wandered around Black Rock looking for flapjacks when they came across the shut-down Cold Steel and his gang.
When they left the area, they were ambushed by the reactivated desperados and taken to the town jailhouse.
