This "black cat creature" is a mysterious feline humanoid which attacked Mystery Inc. during their second visit to Moonscar Island.

While he didn't speak, he showed malice through his actions, constantly attempting to harm the gang.

• Super strength: He could easily bend the roof of the stunt-car the gang used to escape the other cat creatures.

History

Scooby-Doo! Return to Zombie Island

Unlike the other cat creatures, the identity of this one remains completely unknown, although it is implied to be an actual ailuranthrope, rather than a costumed criminal like those who were after Captain Moonscar's treasure.

This Cat Creature's motivations are not known, but it seems to attack visitors to the island; including the Mystery, Inc. gang and Alan Smithee; with the intent of murdering them; going as far as to cut the string of a chandelier to make it fall upon Smithee (who was saved by Scooby-Doo at the nick of time), and set fire to the hotel's curtains.

• It is possible that this creature is the cat god worshiped by the werecats from the first film, trying to take revenge on Mystery Inc. or someone else who also uses the god's power for immortality.
