Bill Lutz was a television writer. Most of the programs he worked on were for Hanna-Barbera cartoons such as Josie and the Pussycats, but he also worked on the original 60s The Addams Family TV series.

Lutz died of kidney failure in 1973, at the age of 52.

  • Joe Ruby and Ken Spears claimed to have wrote the first five episodes of the first season alone, so Lutz's particular involvement in any of the other episodes is unknown, although his granddaughter also claimed he wrote the entire first season.[1]
