"Big" Bob Oakley, A.K.A. "The Actor", was a master of disguises and a wanted man in seven states.

He is a middle-aged man with short black hair, sideburns and long cheekbones. He wore blue pants and black shoes. The rest of his ordinary clothes aren't known as he only wears his red and orange gypsy costume.
Gold Key Comics[]
Artie is a middle-aged man with short black hair, sideburns and long cheekbones. He wore white clothes underneath a pair of armor from a knight and a wolfman glove.
Landoll's[]
Oakley's design is mostly similar to his SDWAY appearance, other then his hair being brown and his gypsy costume having pink on instead of orange.
Personality[]
Not much is known about Big Bob Oakley's personality, other than the fact that he is greedy and selfish. Oakley would stop at nothing in grabbing the treasures he was searching for, as evident when he grabbed the Franken tapestry away from Scooby.
Skills and abilities[]
- Quick reflexes: Oakley can move at incredible speed, alternating between three different costumes in Franken Castle, as well as going back and forth to the gypsy wagon outside, for a fourth disguise, fooling Mystery Inc. each time.
- Disguise skills: He was also incredibly skilled at making costumes and creating different personalities and even voices for his different disguises, such as sounding like a woman seemingly without any problem. This act gave him the moniker, "The Actor".
History[]
Scooby-Doo, Where Are You![]
Season one[]
Oakley disguised himself as Dracula, the Wolfman, Frankenstein's Monster, as well as the gypsy fortune teller, to scare away snoopers, while he tried to find the Franken Jewels inside Franken Castle. He was exposed by the gang and arrested by the Sheriff.
Appearances[]
Notes/trivia[]
- Oakley was the first to utter the phrase that would become the iconic "Meddling Kids" line. When caught he declared: "Yes, and I'd have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for these blasted kids and their dog!" Only the word "Meddling" itself was missing.
- How can Oakley be the 5 foot Werewolf when he is obviously taller than Shaggy who is 6 foot tall?
- It was not made clear what Oakley was wanted in seven states for, though it is implied to be larceny.
