A trap door on the factory floor, activated by one of the Green Globs, drops Velma, Daphne and Fred down a chute into the basement. Besides a few crates and barrels, they discover Cass Elliot also trapped down there. Using a licorice rope handed down by Shaggy, the three teens are able to climb up and out of the chute, but it takes the factory's ceiling conveyor hook to pull Cass out, after she gets stuck partway up.
