B.J. Ward, is an American screen and voice actress, singer, author, and former Playboy Bunny. She is the creator and star of Stand-Up Opera, a musical one-woman show, as well as being a licensed aviator. Her career in animation voice-over began with the titular, Jana of the Jungle, and went on to voice other characters including, Scarlett on G.I. Joe, Wonder Woman on The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians, and both junior high and adult Betty Rubble in various Flintstones productions from the late 80s throughout the 90s.
Ward first voiced Velma Dinkley in a 1997 crossover episode in the Hanna-Barbera-produced Johnny Bravo, where Mystery Inc. helped the titular find his aunt. The following year, she officially became the fifth Velma in the first direct-to-video film, Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island. She continued to voice until 2002, when original portrayer, Nicole Jaffe, briefly took over.
