Culprit Motive/reason
Nathan Archer, making Shaggy think he was growing by changing the size of the furniture in his isolation room and moving the plywood walls in closer to him. To convince investors his growth ray worked so he could run off with their money.

  • This is not an adaptation of the What's New, Scooby-Doo? episode Big Appetite in Little Tokyo, though it uses one of the tricks from that episode, which would be putting Shaggy in a room with small props to make him think he was enlarged).
  • This is the before-last story in the DC Comics' "Scooby-Doo" series.
