The Aswang was the disguise of Catacutan.
Physical appearance[]
The Aswang is a tall elderly witch with pink sclera eyes, long gray hair, fangs and pointy ears and a nose. She wore a long black (or bluish-white) robe with torn sleeves.
Personality[]
She was a hostile threat, who was protective of the area near the gold mine. She also was sarcastic, thinking the giant cross Shaggy and Scooby were using wasn't gonna work against her.
History[]
Scooby-Doo! World of Mystery[]
She attacked a mining company worker wandering around the area and (supposedly) turned him into a wooden statue, this caught the attention of Mr. Magat, the park director into calling Mystery Inc. to come help take care of it.
She made an unexpected surprise attack on them, causing everyone to run away, except for Daphne as she tripped on a branch and was soon caught and turned into a wooden statue.
Her abilities were later proven fake after scaring the rest of the gang again and accidently leave them to discover a hole that led to a gold mine, and finding/rescuing Daphne and Mr. Baniaga.
During the trapping phase, Shag and Scoob went out with a large wooden cross and put it in front of her, which she shrugged it off and laughed saying it only worked on western vampires, as she herself came from the east. But during her remark, the two cowards knocked the cross over and it landed on her.
Catacutan unmasked.
The unmasking happens and it was revealed to be Catacutan, the receptionist, and a talented tailor. He discovered a gold mine hidden in the Chocolate Hills and wanted to take it all for himself, and would kidnap anyone for getting to close, while also using his tailor skills to make convincing wooden statues to make people think some fell victim to the Aswang.
