Arlene Wilcox is a citizen of Salem, and a friend of the gang.

Physical appearance

Arlene is a teenaged Caucasian female with long, dusty brown hair. She wears a blue turtleneck sweater, a light blue jacket, blue pants, and blue shoes.

The thought of her long dead ancestor rising from the grave scared her very much, which is understandable. As she had no knowledge of her twin sister, she was shocked to learn of her existence but did not seem angry at her.

The Scooby-Doo Show

Season three

She was suspected of being possessed by her look-a-like ancestor, who was accused of being a witch by the people of her town, but she was being framed by her twin sister, with the help of the graveyard caretaker Gar Mooney.

  • Why and how Arlene never knew of her sister's existence is never explained. It makes the viewer wonder what kind of family drama the Wilcoxes went through.
  • Arlene's birthday is sometime in October, according to Velma Dinkley--also, as Velma points out to Shaggy and the rest of the gang, since Arlene was born in October, that makes it impossible for her to be a Gemini, who're born anywhere on/from May 21st to June 20th (the late spring and early summer).
    • Since Arlene's birthday is in October, this would make her either a Libra (who're born anywhere on/from September 23rd to October 22nd) or a Scorpio (who're born anywhere on/from October 23rd to November 21st). Also, it's possible that Arlene was born on Halloween (October 31st), since the episode she appeared in took place on Halloween. If so, this would Arlene a Scorpio.
    • The word "Gemini" means "twins" in Latin which means it was more than likely used as a code for Arlene being one of a set of twins. It has nothing to do with her astrological sign. This likely confused Velma at first but the gang eventually figured it out in the end.
