Anubis was the disguise of Omar.
Physical appearance[]
He is a tall, broad built jackal with dark blue fur and yellow eyes. He wore a teal robe, a lighter blue headdress with yellow stripes and golden armbands.
Personality[]
He's a threatening creature, who speaks in riddles and sometimes goes all out with a sharp deadly weapon.
History[]
Scooby-Doo! World of Mystery[]
He seemingly teleported behind the gang when they arrived to explore the Sphinx for the hidden treasure room that the researchers were scared away from finding. He attacked them and scared them all out of the Sphinx before closing off the secret path that was created earlier.
After the gang found a piece to a secret door to the treasure room, Anubis shows up again with an axe and threatens the gang away.
He then shows up one more time in the treasure room, saying they stuck around for too long and then pursues them, with quick thinking. Daphne pushes the piece on the secret door to trap him inside, only for him to slip underneath the door, the gang turned to run away only to see Anubis get the back of his robe caught just as he was about to get out.
Omar the treasure hunter unmasked.
Anubis was then revealed to be Omar, a treasure hunter hired by Dr. Hazem to dig a path to where the treasure and weapons were, but soon as it to trying to obtain it all for himself with the Anubis disguise.
