Ancient Rome (level)

Ancient Rome is the second world in a video game and acts as the second world in Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase.

Premise[]

After Scooby was able to beat Classic Japan, Shaggy now has to beat the next level, Ancient Rome while looking for the Phantom Virus.

Synopsis[]

Level 1[]

Shaggy plays level 1 of Ancient Rome; which is outside the famous Colosseum. Shaggy eventually grabs the box of Scooby Snacks, which is on a walkway likely near the door to the Colosseum.

Level 2[]

Shaggy plays level 2 of Ancient Rome; which is inside the Colosseum. Shaggy eventually grabs the box of Scooby Snacks, which is by the door to the arena.

Level 3 (Boss)[]

Inside the Colosseum's arena, Shaggy encounters one of the Phantom Virus' main bosses who in this world is a Lion. The Phantom Virus uses the gang's communication system to proclaim that Shaggy shouldn't have messed with him since now he's trapped and he'll never get out in one piece. Velma adviced Shaggy to be brave, before she told him to avoid the spears the skeleton gladiators throw and wait until the lion is tired before taking his chance deducing three pies should be enough to beat the beast. Phase One: The four skeleton gladiators throw their spears from left to right at Shaggy twice, going slower the second time. After they throw their spears, the lion comes out of the drawbridge and begins walking towards Shaggy jumping towards him once close. After five jumps the lion gets tired and begins rapidly roaring giving Shaggy a CHANCE to attack him. If Shaggy does not attack the lion, it will run back to the drawbridge and the phase repeats itself. Phase Two: After being hit the lion runs back to the drawbridge. The four skeleton gladiators throw their spears from left to right at Shaggy three times and after the first spear is thrown they attack in a more random order. After they throw their spears, the lion comes out of the drawbridge walking towards Shaggy and charging at him once close. After five charge attacks, the lion gets tired and begins rapidly roaring giving Shaggy a CHANCE to attack him. If Shaggy does not attack the lion, it will run back to the drawbridge and the phase repeats itself. Final Phase: After being hit the lion runs back to the drawbridge. All four skeleton gladiators throw their spears at once at Shaggy. After they throw their spears, the lion comes out of the drawbridge charging at Shaggy before jumping towards him. After three missed attacks the lion gets tired and begins rapdily roaring giving Shaggy a CHANCE to attack him. If Shaggy does not attack the lion, it will run back to the drawbridge and the phase repeats itself. Defeat: The lion is defeated and afterward all four skeleton gladiators throw their spears at once at Shaggy and afterwards the box of Scooby Snacks floats down near the drawbridge. Velma congratulates Shaggy but she's disappointed the Phantom Virus got away but she tells him to come back so they can keep looking. Shaggy grabs the box beating the level and Ancient Rome unlocking the next level, the Arctic Circle.
