Mayoral candidate Joe McGrath attended the dog park's grand opening. However, the event was attacked by the supposed ghost of Amos Littlefield. After the attack, McGrath withdrew from the mayoral race, endorsing Velma Dinkley to run against incumbent mayor Perry Putnam.
