Alan Burnett is a writer and producer in animation. He has written episodes for Hanna-Barbera's The Smurfs (starring Don Messick and June Foray), Disney's original DuckTales (starring Alan Young, Russi Taylor, and Chuck McCann), and Warner Bros. Animation (WBA)'s Batman: The Animated Series (starring Kevin Conroy). He also suggested the name "Darkwing" in Disney's Darkwing Duck (starring Jim Cummings. From 2009-2017, upon his retirement, he had been producer of most of WBA's direct-to-video films, which include Scooby-Doo, Tom and Jerry, and DC Comics.
