William West Anderson, better known as Adam West, was an American actor, best known for playing the title character of the 1960's live-action Batman TV series on ABC and its theatrical film. Since then, Adam had often played eccentric characters almost all of them lampooning himself and his role of Batman, on shows such as The Fairly OddParents, Family Guy and SpongeBob SquarePants.
After a brief battle of leukemia, Adam died in 2017, at the age of 88.
