Scooby-Doo! World of Mystery[]
They were all part of a show hosted by an unnamed director in Orava Castle and arrived late to work, the gang arrived sometime after and were late too. They told the gang about a mirror they saw and it gave them chills, but before they could continue explaining the experience, the director angrily tells them to leave and do a rehearsal before starting the show.
In reality, they were all putting together a plan to run the play themselves, by dressing up as monstrous reflections of the gang, because of the mirror legend where ones reflection becomes a monster, to scare them and the director away (because of how he treated them and the gang was interfering).

After getting caught, they explained why they did it and apologized for everything, and the director also apologized as he was very focused on getting the show done, and promised to not act that way for now on.
