A Fright at the Opera is the first part of the twelfth episode of the first season of The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show.
The guys are viewing the Eiffel Tower in Paris. While Scooby was pulling a long map from Scrappy's guidebook, he stands above an open manhole and tries to hang on, but Shaggy steps on him, lost his grip and they both fell down bringing Scrappy with them.
They land in a bathtub beneath the sewer. Scrappy reads that people get lost in the famous underground sewers and while trying the tub was drifting, a shadow figure appears warning them that they can never escape. He turns on a valve that releases more water that sends the tub backwards. Scooby climbs on the shower nozzle and when turns it on upon climbing down. Scrappy pulls the plug to drain out the water, but because the tub is already floating in water, it sinks. They get to shore and see the figure from earlier playing a pipe organ. He spots them and Scrappy jumps on the organ revealing a secret passageway giving the trio a chance to escape. They wander into a dead end and Scrappy spots a hole in the ceiling. They climb it, only to find themselves in the pipe organ. The phantom plays the organ that sends the trio into a theater right above the sewers.
While trying to get out, the phantom catches up to them. They disguise themselves as vaudeville dancers, but the phantom isn't fooled. While Shaggy and Scooby run, Scrappy gets launched into the theater's fly system. He sends several doors down to the doors and eventually catches the phantom by dropping a cage on him. When Shaggy asks which way to the Eiffel Tower, Scrappy lowers a scenery of the tower and the guys run right into it.
